I have no idea where I got this recipe from – I just know that I have had it for a very long time.  

Kitchen Wisdom

To remove cooking odours, boil a little vinegar in an open saucepan. Add 12 whole cloves for a delightful scent [at least I think so].

Ingredients

  • 500 grams fish fillets
  • salt
  • pepper freshly ground
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • lemon juice to taste

Instructions

  1. Place fish fillets evenly in a shallow baking dish.
  2. Add salt, pepper, butter, parsley & lemon juice.
  3. Bake in a 200° C oven for 10-20min. Fish is cooked when flesh is milk white and will flake easily.
