Chocolate Chip Cookies
Back to recipe list
Source & History
This is another cookie recipe from the
Women's Weekly Biscuits & Slices book. Used to be a popular one at our place.
Note
- We don’t put the nuts in the mixture and we usually double the recipe.
- Plain flour becomes self-raising when you add 1 tsp baking powder for each cup of flour. For this recipe I would add 2 tsp baking powder(4 tsp if I was doubling the recipe - see previous point) if I were using plain flour (which I would be because I don't buy self-raising flour).
- I have never added a beaten egg gradually in my life - just whack it in there and beat well.
