Pumpkin Fruit cake

                    This is one I got from Mum.  For some reason she has tried everyone elses Pumpkin fruitcake recipes but I think this one is still the best.

Ingredients

• 1 cup sugar
• 250g butter
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup mashed pumpkin
• 1 tablespoon syrup
• 2 cups self raising flour
• 1 packet mixed fruit

Instructions

1. Cream Butter and Sugar
2. Add eggs one at a time
3. Add pumpkin and syrup
4. Add flour alternatively with mixed fruit
5. Bake in moderate oven for approx 1 hour in 8"/20cm square tin
