Fruit Balls - Delicious for Christmas

fruit balls        This recipe is from a friend I met in Moranbah. Her daughter Lisa and my daughter Kate were best friends at primary school and we became friends as a result. I don't know where she got this recipe from, but it is absolutely delicious. Thanks Sally.

Ingredients

  • 500 gm mixed fruit (packet)
  • 1 tin Condensed milk
  • 3 pinches citric acid
  • 1 sachet weight watchers gold crest orange or lemon jelly
  • 250g toasted coconut (add hot)
  • melted chocolate for coating fruit balls

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together well and roll mixture into walnut sized balls. (Don't dampen hands to roll fruit balls)
  2. Set a while in refrigerator.
  3. Dip balls into melted chocolate and refrigerate in sealed container. I use both dark and/or milk chocolate for this recipe.
