Rhoda used to make these all the time - not so often now. Frank says that he hasn't had them for years but he did used to eat them.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sultanas
  • 1 1/2 cups flour self-raising
  • pinch salt
  • cornflakes

Instructions

  1. Cream butter & sugar. Add eggs. Beat well.
  2. Add sultanas and sifted flour & salt. Mix well.
  3. Roll teaspoons of dough into a ball then roll in cornflakes to coat. Put on a baking tray.
  4. Bake in a moderate oven until golden brown. Instruction Image
